(hereinafter referred to as "OrbiSky," "OrbiSky Systems," "the Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ethical business practices and to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities and supply chains. While we are not currently subject to the mandatory reporting requirements of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are publishing this statement voluntarily to demonstrate our commitment to these principles.
Our Business and Supply Chains
OrbiSky is a provider of AI-powered solutions for the aerospace and defense industries. Our operations are primarily based in the United Kingdom, and we serve clients in the UK, North America, and Europe. Our supply chains are primarily comprised of providers of software, cloud services, and professional services. We recognize that the risk of modern slavery is present in all industries and all countries, and we are committed to taking steps to mitigate that risk within our own operations and our supply chain.Our Approach to Preventing Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. Although we do not yet have a formal, written Code of Conduct, our commitment to ethical business practices is fundamental to how we operate. We expect all our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners to uphold the same high standards as we do, and we will work with them to ensure that they meet these standards. We include, or will include, anti-slavery and human trafficking provisions in our contracts with suppliers.Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We are taking the following steps to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery:We carefully select our suppliers and business partners, prioritizing those with established reputations and ethical practices. We communicate our expectations regarding ethical conduct, including our opposition to modern slavery, to our suppliers. We are continually reviewing and developing our due diligence processes. This includes reviewing publicly available information about our suppliers to identify any potential modern slavery risks.
